| From the dawn of Heaven, seven virtues were passed down to the angels as guidelines to live their lives by. Heaven has changed in those six thousand years, but the rules still remain in effect.

| Seven sins for the pits of Hell | |||||||||
| The seven sins, which are represented by seven Satans in Hell, are forbidden in Heaven. They can cause an angel to fall if their actions are discovered.

| To err is to fall | |||||||||
| For an angel, giving in to sin can have a range of consequences... sinning must be kept as discrete as possible. While a venial sin might only earn them a reprimand from their superiors, a cardinal or mortal sin carries much heavier ramifications. Angels who have sinned are marked with the "Peccato" brand (the brand of the fallen angel) on their left breast, over their heart, and can never progress up the ranks. The angel can also be condemned to fall, and exiled from Heaven for all eternity. But if the sin is too dire, if it is a mortal sin, the angel, after being branded, can be sentenced to a number of punishments, including torture through tragic reincarnations, or even worse, the loss of its wings.
