| 1. Thou shalt not metagame (use ooc knowledge) to further thy character. 2. Thou shalt not god-mode (move another player's character without their consent). 3. Thou may not land a punch, just throw it. 4. Thou shalt be realistic when it comes to thy character's abilities. 5. Thou shalt accept defeat if it comes down to it. 6. Thou shall not kill. (without expressed permission) 7. Thou shalt accept responsibilities for your actions and/or mistakes. (see rules 4 and 5) 8. | Fighting, in details |
| This game uses negotiation-style fighting. That is, battles are played in a turn-based way, where each of the opponents describe what they are attempting to do to the other, and deciding what blows land on their characters and how mych damage is realistically taken. This goes on until one character loses, retreats, or comes to an arrangement with the other. [more] Bad: Mad Hatter rushed forward and punched Mikael in the face. She heard the crunch of bone under her fist, the exhilarating feel of the blood on her fingers. Mikael teetered back, shocked. Good: Mad Hatter rushed forward, coming in quickly, at an angle, towards the Great Power. She pulled back her arm and threw a punch towards Mikael's face. After this posting, it is up to Mikael's player to decide if, realistically, the punch landed or not, and how much damage it caused. It is important to always keep in mind the 4th commandment: realism. In general, unless there are weapons or special strategies involved the balance of power in a one-on-one fight is as follows: Human < Angel/Demon < Great Angel/Satan < Rosiel/Lucifer < Adam Kadamon Unless the fight involves a huge difference in power, such as an unarmed schoolgirl attacking a Satan, all fights should be negotiated every step of the way.. |
