Hades, where the Cauldron of Souls exists, is closed to both Angel and demon. None are admitted, save the souls of the dead humans, who await judgement, and the Angel of Death, Uriel.

The sublimation of purged souls, Enra-O watches over the souls as they purify themselves to be sent back to Heaven or Earth, or fall into Hell.

Souls that are not strong of mind and who are not able to purify themselves, fall into darkness and become ghouls, preying on the stronger souls existing and wandering Hades. These ghouls eventually fall into Hell as demons. If a soul is successful at purifying itself, it may be reborn on earth, and the purest of souls may enter heaven, reborn as Angels.
